Occupy Campus Ministry has many goals that involve meeting the spiritual, social, and educational needs of college students across the nations. One of our newest initiatives is our Occupy Global Institute. The Occupy Global Institute aims to be an additional tool for volunteers and members of OCM local campuses to aid in meeting those needs.
Occupy Global Institute aims to support members of OCM by supplying clear and meaningful tools for studying and striving to understand the Word and Heart of God.
Occupy Global Institute will serve as a touch point for learning and growing in that knowledge for staff and volunteers of OCM. Throughout the calendar year, members will be able to interact with monthly courses and lessons that will develop them in the knowledge of God, scripture, biblical principles, and the history & culture of Occupy Campus Ministry.
Monthly, a universal lesson will be uploaded to the Course surrounding different topics including prayer, worship, and even Occupy Vernacular and Culture. Some lessons will also include tools for outreach and evangelism. The content of these lessons may also be points of discussion in small groups.
