Occupy University of Texas is a diverse campus ministry dedicated to spreading the Word of God, equipping students in their purpose, and creating an atmosphere where lives are transformed through dynamic worship, relevant messages, and genuine community.
We meet bi-weekly Tuesday nights at 7:30 PM held in various places on campus.
Not at all! Whether you’re a committed follower of Jesus, exploring faith, or simply looking for a welcoming community, you are invited to join us.
Our services combine dynamic worship, a relevant word, and a life-changing atmosphere. You’ll experience passionate praise, powerful teaching, and authentic connection with other students.
We launched in 2023 as the third-ever Occupy campus and have quickly become known for our high-energy gatherings, strong sense of community, and deep commitment to serving both the campus and Austin community.
You can start by coming to a Tuesday service, joining a Life Group, serving on a team, or helping with events like Soul Food Sundays, game nights, and outreach activities.
Pastor Antwan J. Eaves and his wife, Benee Eaves, lead the Texas State chapter, with Kesha Rainey serving as the Occupy Logistics Director.
Yes! We host monthly Soul Food Sundays, game nights, outreach projects, and trips to retreats and conferences.
No—being part of Occupy is free. Some trips, conferences, or retreats may have a small registration fee, but we keep costs as low as possible. We invite all members, alumni and supporters to partner financially with us monthly as an Occupy Legend.
